- Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the jewish calendar and also one of the most sober commemoration of the year. all the adults observing yom kippur goes on fasting twenty five hours (which starts at sundown the night before).It is also said that anyone whose health can’t take it will be exempted, they will eat and drink water on yom kippur. Now When Is Rosh Hashanah? Rosh Hashanah starts on wednesday oct 2 and last on oct 4 being friday 2024. How do you say happy Rosh Hashanah? There are many ways to greet someone during Rosh Hashanah.
